Why Management and Leadership for (Internal) Entrepreneurs (EBCL-C)

Entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly important in the current working environment. This applies not only to people with their own business but also to the current manager. By encouraging entrepreneurship, solutions are thought more than in problems, employees get new sales opportunities and develop a culture of constant desire. All this to help the customer even better.

The EBC * L certificate, European Business Competence * License, is the European recognized certificate of business management. With this certificate, you demonstrate to possess the business-critical basic knowledge required for entrepreneurship. The EBC * L includes knowledge that is essential for business thinking and acting. The certificate has now taken place in and outside Europe as a recognized standard for business education focused on entrepreneurship. Many European companies have now chosen EBC * L as a standard for management training.

Employees, managers and managers who have successfully completed the EBCL-B, who want to further develop their entrepreneurial competencies.

The program

The level is high. It is not just about applying knowledge, but especially for developing integral entrepreneurship skills. You work on competencies related to vision development, keep learning, attitude, insight and skills. The portfolio plays a very important role. The training can be completed with an exam and an international certificate.

Closure

The program will be concluded with an end-of-term exam. In this conversation, the student returns with the help of his / her portfolio, determines where he / she is now and looks forward to the future. In addition, the participants receive a Certificate of Management and Leadership Skills for (Internal) Entrepreneurs (EBCL-C). After your program, you will do the EBCL written exam for EBCL-C. Duration and training costs

The training is 12 days. One part of the day consists of the intake and 1 day part is reserved for the closing.

Curriculum Controller

Due to the dynamics and current complexity of society through increasing competition and internationalization and through innovation of information systems, effective and flexible action is of great importance. Business management needs support from generalists with specialist specialization in financial and organizational matters: the controller.

The controller, which is the management sparring of the management or making it part of it, must give substance to their needs. Manage, evaluate, outsource detailed analyzes, information processing and periodic review for the controller's daily practice.

The controller keeps track of the company's movements and advises management in this regard. The Post-HBO Controller training her students to become an independent generalist professional with a helicopter view.

This practical training will familiarize the (future) controller with the knowledge and skills needed for the successful execution of the controller function.

Training and training duration

The program consists of 9 modulles with a total size of 40 days and is concluded with an exam. The duration of the education is approximately 18 months.

The training will be strengthened with complementary guidance (six meetings of 2 hours). This guidance will consist of intervision and a combination of supervision and coaching. Intervision is a form of expertise promoting employees to call on colleagues to reflect on personal and job-related issues and bottlenecks from their own work situation. This does not happen by providing solutions but by asking questions so that, with the help of their own analytical and problem solving ability, they can understand the problem and how to handle it.

Admission requirements

For the program, the following prerequisites apply:

A rounded (financial) HBO degree program;

Minimally 2 years relevant work experience within the field of work and the field of study;

Academics with a relevant degree program can be exempted for certain modules.

Any deficiencies and exemptions are determined by the Examination Board.

Why Business Administration for ICTs

Business aspects are gaining increasing importance during your daily work. More and more you are thinking about issues that affect the entire company and its environment. You often make your choices intuitive, but you want to better support them. You think about how you can exercise more influence within your organization.

For whom

You think and work at hbo level or you have a completed bachelor's degree and have been working in the ICT industry for a number of years. You are well in your field and it is also recognized within the organization where you work. If this means in practice that you can not only be busy with the pursuit of your subject, but that there are also a lot of business issues to you, then this is the time to choose for the (post) HBO program Business Administration for ICTs.

The program

The Business Studies program for ICTs covers 18 days. Prior to the training, your personal learning goals and learning style will be mapped based on your intake. You will get started with the basic elements of business administration, such as Marketing Management, Financial Management, Management and Organization and Personnel Management. Based on your learning style and learning objectives and those of your fellow students, the program will be completed. The basis for this is the case of own cases and the practice of their own organization. You will review and analyze the entire organization and especially your own department.

Methodology

You go through the different modules, work on casualty, make assignments and study literature, with your teachers being intensively supervised. Each module concludes with a short presentation, showing you the ability to translate the theory into your own organization. You are working on a number of business cases in which you apply the scholar from all program sections of the relevant block to a question from your own organization. The result of your business project presents you to the teacher (s), fellow participants and the client (s) within your own organization. You also close the education with a portfolio.

The program contributes decisively to the development of key management competencies:

• Provide complex issues from different business disciplines and integrate them in substance,

• Support the organization for strategic issues, organizational design and organizational change,

• Result-oriented management in a turbulent environment,

• Creating customer value, on its own and in strategic relationships and partnerships,

• Analyzing unstructured business problems; To synthesize and solve these in an integral business plan,

• From a reflective attitude, develop the own development process.

The program will be completed with a degree in Business Administration for ICTs.

Why Practical Guidance for ICTs

Your success as a manager depends strongly on your personal performance. Formal authority is not a strong basis. It's about vision, tact and persuasive power. How do you lead a team of individuals? How do you create support for your ideas? In this training, under the guidance of an expert, you will find the professional skills that you can provide in an inspiring and effective way. You understand insight into your own skills, pitfalls and position as a leader and have tools to optimize your role.

You want to develop (further) in the field of management. At this time, you are guiding a team or doing this in the future.

Methodology

A personal intake takes place before this training takes place. This sets out your personal learning goals. In this interactive training the emphasis is placed on the different styles of leadership and the practical and effective application of these. You develop your conversational and social skills to coach and direct your employees optimally. Under the inspirational guidance of an experienced professional, you will learn to provide effective guidance in a natural way. You also conclude the training with a portfolio.

Results

At the end of this trainig:

• Do you know the different styles of leadership and are you able to apply them?

• Do you know the principles of team-oriented leadership;

• Can you create support by communicating effectively;

• Can you motivate employees better by coaching purposefully?

• Have insight into your own skills, pitfalls and role as a leader.

The program will be concluded with an end-of-term exam. In this conversation, the student returns with the help of his / her portfolio, determines where he / she is now and looks forward to the future. In addition, the participants receive a Certificate Lead 1 for ICTs.

Duration and training costs

The training is 14 days. One part of the day consists of the intake and 1 day part is reserved for the closing.

China-trip 2016 (Beijing-Ganzhou-Wuhan-Shanghai)

Also this year the Bachelor as also the vocational students joint the yearly education trip to China. Besides the traditional visits to the Great Wall, Summer Palace, and Forbidden city in Beijing, the company visits (Among other things, Analog,  Aonmed, Baidu , and Festo)  made a huge impact on the students.      

This year the students where specially invited by a Chinese University in Wuhan, who made for the students a special program. The director of the University offered the students several Chinese dishes in a way we learn more about the traditional Chinese cooking and culture and also important the food tasted delicious.

The invitation by the Wuhan University made the trip extra special, but also quite tough. In the same period (14 days) we had to cover an extra city, that made us travel more than 1.000 kilometers extra.

Looking back we can say that the China-trip was full of interesting aspects from educational point of view and fun, and we will definitely organize a new trip for the coming school year.
