HBO (Higher Vocational Education) at EuroPort Business School
Starting a Hbo education at EuroPort Business School is the beginning of a succesful career. Our Hbo programmes are practical, innovative and internationally orientated. EuroPort Business educates ambitious students in a management career in several departments in a dynamic world which is rapidly globalizing. All our HBO courses have an intensive training programme of 4 years. They are completed with a recognized HBO-certificate. After obtaining your certificate you are entitled to call yourself Hbo. The small-scaled learning environment focuses the attention on the student. No mass education, but quality: intensive (individual) coaching, professional teachers, structure and many opportunities to apply your knowledge in practice. Besides development and exchange of knowledge, the quality of your educational environment is very important. Studying at EuroPort Business School means feeling at home in a community with an attractive and challenging programme in which you can develop your qualities.

HBO in 4 (only for the excellent students in 3) years, 'an intensive educational challenge'
Students who have obtained all ECTS (3 x 15 + 3 x 2,5) in trimester 1-3, can apply for an accelerated track. The accelerated track has a study load of 80 ECTS per year and is the 3 years program. The shortened course is being made possible by an intensive programme, several educational systems, assessments and one-to-one coaching by a business professional and a very good educational record of the student. Holiday periods are shorter than at an average school. Besides that, EuroPort Business School guarantees an optimal study environment with small classes. These assets contribute to a bigger chance of succes. We want to excell, and we except you to do the same. Ambition and talent will be rewarded at Europort Business School.

Two moments to start. You can start all EPBS-educations at all locations in either September of February.

September
When you start your education in September, you will have your (6-8 weeks) traineeship at the end of the study year, so at the end of the fourth term. The second period you will work as a trainee will start in the last term of the second study year and will overlap the third study year.

February
When you start in February, you will have classes together with the students who started in September. This is possible, as the terms within a study year can be followed independently from each other. You will have your (6-8 weeks) traineeship at the end of the second term. The second period you will work as a trainee will start in the sixth term of the second study year and will overlap the third study year. For students who start in February the whole HBO-education will also take 3 years.
